Welcome to the Sage And Smoke Apothecary! Previously owned by Aldrip locals, Claude von Riegan has since taken over and revamped and expanded the place. Here, they cater to the recreational and medical needs of the locals, and have expanded into a community hub. They sell all manner of medicinal remedies: tinctures, salves, tonics, medicinal herbs, antiseptics, and others of that ilk. They also sell cannabis, both recreationally and medicinally, and Claude's very own custom tea blends, with a bevy of squashy chairs and tables for people to sit and enjoy their wares. Claude himself lives on the top floor in an apartment completely unseen by most. Extensions along the side include the wyvern stable for Claude's steed and the Greenhouse to help supply their many wares. They have a standing partnership in supplying the Artzenritter as well, Aldrip's local medical brigade. All processes in the Apothecary are done manually, and Claude shows a marked preference for maintaining an old-fashioned, low-tech approach; while the entire place is fully rigged as a modern building, you can expect things to be lit by moody lamplight rather than the overhead electric lights during shop hours unless they really need the clarity of vision for whatever reason.

Claude accepts employees to help out with whatever facet of the Apothecary they so choose: helping tend the greenhouse, learning how to do the delicate back of house work (drying and grinding down herbs, preparing the salves, etc.), handling customer service, and helping forage for ingredients better harvested in the wild are just a few of the tasks available to them. In the back is a spacious break room for employees to relax and break bread with another, a large fireplace which Claude uses for his potions and teas alike, and Claude's own office which remains perpetually locked.
